This report is the result of a special monitoring survey conducted on March 27, 2024, at Geisinger - Community Medical Center. Facility attestations for the following were reviewed:
New Services:
New service, Hemodialysis capability on the Cardiac Special Care Unit (CSCU) beds 1 - 14. This area will be staffed with a contracted dialysis RN. If there is a Certified Hemodialysis Tech working, this Certified Tech will be under the supervision of the Dialysis RN, beginning on January 19, 2024.
